Some of Beantown's ugliest, most dissolute trash. And it rocks mightily. For virgins, the Cheater Slicks drool a late-‘60s nod-out fuzz and Scientists-buggered swamp rock that's anything but slick. An outtake from the excellent Cheater Slicks Don't Like You, “Trouble Man” was also produced by buddy Jon Spencer—which means he basically got out of the way. If this crap doesn't get your toes tappin', you'd best think about an epitaph.
